THE  LAKES CHILLI FEST

Following the cancellation of the 2011 Lakes Chilli Fest because of a prolonged period of heavy rainfall just prior to the event which caused flooding  in the field used for car parking, we have taken the decision to postpone the event for 2012.  A thorough investigation into possible remedial work that can be undertaken  to limit the flooding is now ongoing.  However this  involves a number of outside parties and will take time to resolve.

 

The Bagot family deeply regret this decision, particularly after the success of the previous events,  but feel that the risk of a second cancellation and its effect on all the businesses that this event supports is not an acceptable one.
